This is my routine if I know I’m going to be wearing Eucris that day, I’ll post the more generic one another time.
Being a Scotsman, I’m too tight to run the water boiler and get hot water from the tap, so I boil the kettle and use that.
I start off with the Eucris skin food as a pre-shave.

Here I’m using a Persona Platinum blade in my Gillette King C safety razor. I normally get four or five shaves per blade. I keep a die with my shaving kit and use that to track what day I’m on (A great idea I got from an Ash Jones
video).

Eucris shaving soap, which I mainly bowl lather but do finish up with a bit of face lather too to get in into any growth to soften it up.

I normally shave once with the grain, once across, then once more against the grain, but will miss the middle pass if I’m pushed for time. I then use my fingers to feel for any problem areas I need to do a little extra work on and focus just on those bits rather than my whole face.

Once I’m happy, I’ll wet the alum block and rub that over the shaved areas.

It’s probably overkill to use both, but after the alum block I splash on some Witch Hazel

Then use some more Eucris Skin Food as a post shave balm.

If there are any nicks, I’ll use a styptic match to stop the bleeding in its tracks.

Some Eucris deodorant stick under arm.

Then to finish off a spray or two of Eucris EDP. I normally like to leave the EDP until ten mins or so after the shave, but if I’m against the clock, I’ll use it right away.

That gives me a very unified scent profile and a really good and very close shave.
After cleaning the razor, I leave the blade in, but not tightened to allow it to dry.
The whole thing start to finish usually takes fifteen to twenty minutes, which may seem a long time to shave, but it’s a ritual I really enjoy rather than a chore I need to get through, so it’s time well spent.
